A NEUE SAMMLUNG event forming part of the Designparcours 2002
The Neue Sammlung is moving – from Prinzregentenstrasse 3 to the Pinakothek der Moderne – in fact the move is already well under way – and the "Design en Route" theme will be brought to life by a truly spectacular object, which the Neue Sammlung will be showcasing as of September 2002 in the Pinakothek der Moderne: an original Tatra 87, dating from 1937, an extremely rare, early example of a streamlined shape – Design en Route indeed.
This extraordinary car will be on the road between June 13 and 16 in the Munich Kunstareal and all around the Pinakothek der Moderne, in which, for the first time ever, art, graphics, architecture and design are all on display under one roof: the world's most important inter-disciplinary museum.
