Declaration on Accessibility

Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum aims to make its internet portal accessible without barriers in accordance with the Bavarian E-Government Ordinance (BayEGovV). This accessibility statement applies to the internet portal www.die-neue-sammlung.de.


Status of compatibility with the requirements

The internet portal is compatible with the BayEGovV.
There is currently an overview page in German sign language and one in easy-to-understand language.

Information on all exhibitions since 2020 is available in easy-to-read text and audio versions. The overview pages for planning a visit and about the museum, the team, the locations, the library, the Future Talks and the Kunstareal are also available in easy-to-understand language and easy-to-read.

Enforcement procedure

If you have not received a response to your submitted accessibility request within six weeks, you can submit an application to the Landesamt für Digitalisierung, Breitband und Vermessung (LDBV) as the responsible enforcement body for a review of compliance with accessibility requirements. Upon your request, the State Office will check whether measures are required for the operator of the website.
