Eur shelving system from the Me Too collection
These miniatures take their cue from the shapes and principles of a modular shelving system for children. There are three sections in all: a low arch, a long arch, and an asymmetrical arch whose sides are of different lengths. By adding other elements both the height and width can be extended. In this way storage systems or play walls can be created from the individual sections of Eur. The original arches are between 23 and 44 centimeters high and are made of durable, sturdy polypropylene. Giulio Iacchetti was one of the first designers to use this biodegradable plastic. The blue or orange shelf is part of the Me Too collection that the manufacturer Magis developed in 2004. From the start, the objective was to make toys and furniture suited to the needs of pre-school children as well as enabling them to arrange and shape their own environment.
